To the various people who have emailed me in the past few days and gotten no response, to those who have been repeatedly hitting refresh in the vain hope of seeing something new, and to those who are still searching for Ruslana performing without panties, my apologies: I am SWAMPED! Two days of jury selection on a L&O SUV-worthy case ("What are your feelings on kiddie porn?") has messed up my schedule in a serious way. Blogging will resume shortly.
In the meantime, thumbs up for Rennie Harris's Facing Mekka (which made me think, I really should go see more dance), super thumbs up for eighth blackbird, super-duper thumbs up for Molly Barth, and thumbs down to the ninth circle of hell for the evildoers at the DPT.
Plus, the burning question of the day: Matmos or Christopher Maltman tomorrow night? I can't decide.
There are so many baritones in the world. Only one Matmos. Of course, I'd pick them over anyone, any day. And that's saying a lot; I'm the biggest opera fag in the Greater Seattle area. Besides, they pretty much got their start in the Exploratorium!
