Doctor Atomic: Here we go

Here we go

~~~~~~
1:15am Update: Stop reading about Doctor Atomic right now, and just go see it. Or rather, read Alex's excellent New Yorker feature and don't read anything else, and then go see it. I bet you never imagined that an opera could have a spoiler. (I did too much reading ahead of time and regret it immensely.)
Anyone else stick around for the post-show fire alarm?
Also: Heart=Battered.
1:30am Update: Four bloggers in the audience that I was aware of. First one to post? in the rafters! (It's OK, she doesn't spoil it.)
We eagerly await the early results...
I'll have something up later today; lots of ideas but having structure problems. Maybe I shouldn't be trying to write a full-blown review! Anyway, I'm off for a bike ride and a trip to SF, so it may be a lot later.
I read his review, and swear to God, I am coming out to see it! Hopefully Oct. 22nd. I'm obSESSed!!!
My blog posting is finally up....
Lisa, I like your observations alot!
