Dolmen Musicians

Chrysler

Björk recently did a cover of my song, Gotham Lullaby... I haven't met her but she came to a concert of mine at Lincoln Center... The Lincoln Center Festival presented a three-concert retrospective of my music called Voice Travel. She was at the third one. I like her version of Gotham Lullaby a lot. It's really interesting, so I've been meaning to write to her a card to tell her that I liked it.

I also have an mp3 of Björk doing "Gotham Lullaby" on the Vespertine tour. The place was Stuttgart; the day was September 11, 2001, just hours after the whole thing happened. She actually said something to the effect of "I think we're all a little upset about what's happened on an island west of here called Manahattan" and something about saying a prayer for those involved. So odd; it's like that song was written for that exact day and moment.
